Caroline has been amazing to work with as a beta reader! Right from the start she's been professional which is something that can be lacking in this industry. We set out very clear dates which she outlined in a contract kept to that schedule. Anyone who has been disappointed in this before, I can say Caroline won't let you down and that already is worth its weight in gold as so many of us deal with stress of late manuscript returns when in the editing phase. As for the quality of her beta read, it was fantastic! Not only did she pick up timeline errors and point out some critical changes, she also highlighted areas that made her swoon. Authors- if you're like me and many of my friends who struggle to pull out teasers, I can't tell you how invaluable her highlighting the things she liked was! Typically with beta reads, I get redlines for errors or problems, but the good moments being pulled was just as valuable. I was able to lean into these moments and build them up as well as have many of my teaser moments chosen for me! I will definitely be working with Caroline more in the future and have already booked my next manuscript.
